Howdy Josh,
We are sorry to hear about your “Backflip gone bad”. The first one looked great- you looked happy to get that one out of the way. Cracked up when we heard the dime in the crack joke. Had the failed attempt not happened I’m pretty sure you would have been in for at least a week of “flat rim” jokes from the crew. Sounds like the Racer X dudes were pretty harsh on you- as if the injuries don’t hurt enough. It’s your life dude so live it to the fullest. You wouldn’t be who and where you are today if you didn’t believe in yourself. On the other hand this stuff is so hard on your Mom especially as well as the rest of your loved ones. Please take care and heal well and quickly- your fans can’t wait to see you back on your #75 Yamaha. We pray for you guys every night and will continue to do so.
I found out that Josh got hurt in the strangest way. A couple of dudes in a silver van with stickers all over the back and Washington plates came into my work on Thursday. I think the guys # is 62 and they were headed for a flat track race in Calistoga,CA. Anyway I mentioned I live down in Yoncalla and he asked if I knew Josh Hill. I said I did and that’s when he said he thinks Josh got hurt practicing for the X-Games. Small world!! Thanks flat track dudes whoever you were.
